I wish I could have stayed longer. The staff were all kind and helpful, and there’s a lovely shared area. The place is modern, clean, and beautiful, with large spotless rooms and balconies facing vineyards and gardens. From there, it’s fun to take in the vineyards, ocean, and island. Getaria is a little over a kilometer downhill, with a beautiful municipal park on an island reached through a tunnel.

The two women at reception were so welcoming and helpful. We had a spacious, very clean room, comfortable beds, and a balcony with lovely views of the txakoli vineyards, green hills, and the sea in the distance. Getaria is nearby, so the location worked perfectly for us. Such a wonderful place with spectacular views and lovely hosts. We really hope to come back soon. 😊

The apartment under the roof was spacious, peaceful, and had beautiful views, close to Getaria. The cleaning staff did a great job, keeping the room spotless each time, and the clothes-washing service was very good. Still, we left with mixed feelings, and I won’t return even when our daughter is seven. I didn’t feel welcome with our four-year-old, and my husband felt the same. The woman who met us, who I assume was the owner, told us in a very unfriendly way that small children weren’t allowed and explained why. We felt we might be thrown out, though she ultimately let us stay. The website hadn’t made the under-seven rule clear, and I find it strange to accept some children but not others. It seems better to be either adults-only or a place that welcomes children. The apartment was also very hot each evening, reaching 29 degrees, even though we kept all the west-facing shutters closed during the day. There was no air conditioning, and the fans weren’t enough for us. Once the sun went down, opening the windows meant hundreds of flies came in, so we slept very poorly. The beds were so shaky that we had to put the mattresses on the floor to sleep. The shower door was broken, which left the floor wet. Thank you, but we won’t be back.

We loved our stay, and the hotel was incredible for the price. The rooms were spacious, with beautiful views and high-quality interior design, and the staff were so kind. Breakfast was wonderful, too, with a great view of nature. There were animals all around; we especially fell for two pregnant cats and a cow that seemed to love music. Even though the hotel is surrounded by nature, the city and beach are only a short walk away. Thank you so much!
