The self-serve breakfast was a lovely surprise, with yogurt, cereal, espresso, tea, and juice. Just right for a hungry peregrino. The room was clean, and the shower and bath were nice. It’s conveniently located, too. You need to call to get in at check-in, but the hostess answered quickly and was friendly and helpful. I’d stay again if I make it back to Shagun.

The room was spacious, with a big bathroom and a small balcony, and the place has a rustic feel. Breakfast was self-serve, with plenty to choose from. It’s in an ideal spot for the Camino. Check-in was a bit odd: I got a code for the building and was told to go upstairs. Our room had our name on the door, but the other two didn’t, so those guests had to call the host, who told them they could take either room. My only complaint was all the loose floor tiles in the room.

There was no one around most of the time, but we managed to reach someone by phone during the 2-4 reception hours. They had sent the door code that morning after 9, though we’d already left the WiFi by then. Breakfast was self-serve, with bread, crackers, and yogurt, which I appreciated. Good location.

The WiFi didn’t work, and there were ants in our room. Breakfast was just do-it-yourself white bread in a cramped little room with barely any space to sit. The place was cluttered with plants, dishes, and other stuff, which made it feel unsafe. Nobody was there to greet us or check us in. This wasn’t a good place to stay. Beware of this “hotel.”

A warm, comfortable little oasis along the Camino de Santiago, close to restaurants, bakeries, and everything you might need for shopping. It’s a lovely small boutique hotel, with a large bathroom and breakfast available all day, including beverages.
