Fernando is always attentive and reachable if anything unexpected comes up. This was my second booking, and I’ll be back. The apartment sits right in central Gijón, about two minutes from the beach, with plenty of bars just downstairs. Even on a busy street, the soundproofing keeps the noise out completely.

The apartment was clean, nicely renovated, and had everything we needed, but we couldn’t sleep either of the two nights. Noise came in from the bar area outside and from the apartment above, where we could hear everything until 5 a.m. Really unpleasant.

There are lots of bars nearby, and the beach is only 200 meters away. The apartment is new, clean, and right in the heart of Gijón. Even though it’s on the main wine route, it’s well insulated and we slept well. We had a very enjoyable visit.

The host was attentive from the start, and the thoughtful little touches in each apartment won us over right away. Everything was in great shape, spotless, and really well equipped. We were right on the wine route, so there was plenty of life outside, but the soundproofed rooms kept it from disturbing our sleep. We couldn’t have picked a better place, and we’ll definitely return.

Fernando clearly cares about making the stay feel like more than just a place to sleep. There’s no need for direct contact with the owner if you prefer to do everything by code. The apartment is new, very clean, well equipped, and has an elevator and a balcony facing Begoña Street. Poniente Beach is two minutes away and San Lorenzo Beach one minute. The wine and tapas street has a great atmosphere. A real luxury, we’ll be back.
