The rooftop terrace was such a relaxing spot, and the upstairs lounge was lovely. We stayed a week in Apartment 3 at Velo Vern for a cycling trip and to explore Girona’s old town, and we fell for the city. There’s a washer-dryer in the apartment, plus a drinking water filter for filling bottles. Each bedroom has its own AC/heater, a balcony for fresh air, and a clean, modern bathroom with a towel warmer. We rented bikes from Eat Sleep Cycle around the corner, then stored them in Velo Vern’s secure street-level bike room. Not having a car was no problem at all: we could walk everywhere and keep trying the endless restaurants, gelato, pastry, and coffee places. We’ll definitely stay at Velo Vern again.

We had the top two floors, with three lovely en-suite bedrooms and the kitchen, living room, and roof terrace upstairs. It was comfortable, modern, and had everything we needed. Downstairs there’s a secure bike room stocked with tools, a pump, locks, and more. A fantastic spot for cyclists. We’ll be back next time.

Parking isn’t available nearby, though you can use a public parking lot. The three-bedroom apartment is spread across two floors, with a cozy outdoor terrace and fireplace. Nicely furnished and equipped with pretty much everything.

We had a great time in this wonderful city, and the team was super friendly. A couple of details need checking, though: switching on the heater in one bathroom shut off all the electricity in the apartment, and the cleaning could have been a little better.
