Apartamentos Santa Ana

A really frustrating and bad experience. We booked three nights, got confirmation, and were due to arrive at midnight on December 24. When we called the hotel that evening to check, they said they only worked until 11 pm, so we couldn’t check in, though they would still charge us. We ended up finding another hotel in an emergency on Christmas Eve and never stayed here. I lost the money for two nights as well, but didn’t want to deal any more with the person at the hotel. I came to Granada for a holiday, not this. We hadn’t been told the check-in hours. The email said to contact the hotel directly, so we emailed them our arrival time and got no reply. If we hadn’t called, we could have been left outside in the cold at midnight on Christmas Eve. We couldn’t get the room through no fault of our own, yet still had to pay, which felt unreasonable. The hotel person was terrible to deal with and seemed to have no interest in solving it. He even threatened to block my number if I called again. Completely unacceptable.

We booked this hotel along with our flight on Opodo’s recommendation. When we called ahead, the person we spoke to was very rude. After checking the location, we chose another hotel, even though we couldn’t get our money back. We were glad we changed our plans. Think carefully before booking. You deserve better than this place.

A lovely building in a great spot, close to lots of good places in Granada. Wonderful place to stay.
