The reception staff were kind and even offered us a taxi back to the apartment. The place was clean, comfortable, and right in the city center near the Alhambra complex. Still, getting the keys meant walking ten minutes to a car park, and we had to sign a contract with heavy fines for property damage. There was nothing wrong with the contract itself, but the whole process made the stay less comfortable and enjoyable.

We spent half the day waiting for blankets and towels. The room wasn't ready at check-in, and calls to the host went unanswered. To collect the keys, we had to go to a public car park. The person handing them over complained that we couldn't speak Spanish and said the missing items, including soap and blankets, weren't his responsibility. I'm never coming back. Avoid this place.

Air conditioning made a huge difference in August. The apartment is on the first floor at the foot of the Ahlambra, about 300 meters from the cathedral, so it's a great base for seeing the city. I think the whole building is made up of rental apartments. Check-in is handled at an office in a covered car park roughly 1 km away. The sofa bed mattress was just okay, and the bathroom could use a lot of improvement. You can hear the other residents, though I didn't find the noise especially bothersome.
