Hospes Palacio de los Patos, a Member of Design Hotels

We had a noise problem in our first room because of the door below, but the staff quickly moved us and apologized with a bottle of cava. That was generous and much appreciated. My mother and I had a lovely stay at the Palacio de Los Patos. The property is gorgeous and clearly well cared for, and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Clara checked us in and made a wonderful first impression of Granada, warm, professional, and kind. I’d happily stay again.

The beds were a letdown for me. They felt quite bouncy, so I could feel my partner move, and I’m a light sleeper anyway. I also woke with a sore back from the mattress. Street noise came through too, so the windows could use better sound insulation, especially facing the street or the hotel bar and restaurant. Still, it’s a beautiful hotel with a great location, very friendly and helpful staff, and a delightful spa. They also leave complimentary wine and treats in the rooms.

Barbara was the first to welcome us, and she set the tone for a great stay. The whole team were lovely and knowledgeable, from housekeeping to the valet, reception, and concierge. They were very accommodating with my service dog and disabled parent, which we really appreciated. The new rooms are a delight, with comfortable beds and huge showers. The hotel is perfectly located, with restaurants nearby for every taste and the cathedral only a few minutes’ walk away.

Javi personally walked us to our room after check-in and shared some useful tips along the way. The attentive staff made us feel so well looked after that we didn’t want to leave. Our room was luxurious and comfortable, with lots of nice touches, and surprisingly quiet despite the hotel being right in the heart of everything. We loved staying here and will definitely come back.
