Minutes from the Albaicín old quarter, this hostel felt warm and homely. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and open-minded, and they became good friends. People from all over the world came through, with a warm, soulful, artsy feel to the place. The beds were really comfortable, and we spent evenings playing music and laughing in the great social areas, the terrace and kitchen. I'll be back whenever I'm in Granada, muchas gracias por todo :)

I had a really nice time at El Cascabel and made several friends. It's a comfortable, clean, small and homely hostel with a full self-serving kitchen and a nice roof-top terrace. It attracts a beautiful set of humans. El Cascabel sits in the heart of old Granada, surrounded by interesting shops and welcoming bars. They follow the old Spanish tapas tradition of giving you a small plate of food with each drink you buy, which is a fun way to enjoy the local culture and a true delight if you're watching your money. I'd love to return. Thoroughly recommended! 😃

I stayed in the six-person mixed dorm on the 3rd floor. It felt clean, and the A\C worked great for a small room. The beds were great too, though a peek at other rooms suggested the setup might vary from room to room. It's a very small hostel, but great value for the price, especially if you book through their website instead of Hostelworld. I'd stay again any time I'm in Granada ❤️

I stayed two nights and had an amazing time. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the rooms, bathroom, and kitchen were all impeccably clean. I can't believe this place has such low ratings. It definitely deserves a higher rating!

I made a last-minute reservation for a private room and was pleasantly surprised by how kind and accommodating everyone was. The staff helped with my suitcases, and Siobhon was especially helpful and kind. She got me a taxi and helped carry all my luggage. The room and bed were more comfortable than I'd expected, the location was incredible, and I had a lovely stay.
