Hotel Andalucia Center

We stayed two nights with our daughter. The room was cozy and relaxing, and the reception team were attentive and really helpful. Parking was great, and the car charger there exceeded my expectations. I’d definitely return when I visit Granada again.

I slept very well here. The room was dark and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, with plenty of pillow options. Soundproofing was excellent, so despite the busy street, we heard no traffic, nearby school noise, or construction. The only real drawback was unreliable Wi-Fi. There was extensive construction right outside the entrance during our May 2025 stay, and renovations had closed the rooftop terrace and pool, which looked inviting in the photos. We had to move the car once because of the work. There was also a short power outage one night, but it wasn’t a major problem. The room was modern and clean, without carpet, and had large TVs, a spacious bathroom, a well-stocked paid minibar, and a generous range of good toiletries. We upgraded on the spur of the moment to a Junior Suite, and the extra room with a cozy seating area was worth the additional €33 per night. Early check-in was no problem, and we appreciated being able to stay until noon at checkout. There are two underground garages, one with direct access to the building and one across the street. Parking costs €18 a day, though booking directly with the hotel may bring the price down. The spaces are tight and take careful maneuvering, but usable. Staff were mostly very friendly and helpful, and at check-in we got useful tips on nearby attractions. Downstairs are reception, a restaurant and bar we didn’t try, breakfast, and a small but well-equipped fitness room with a treadmill, step machine, bikes, and strength equipment. The elevators were quick and made getting to the rooms easy. They would have taken us to the rooftop terrace too, but it was closed for construction. Breakfast was very good, tasty and varied, with Spanish specialties, good pastries and fruit, and orange juice that may have been freshly squeezed. Everything was clean and well maintained. The breakfast room felt a bit plain and sterile, though, and staff seemed under pressure, starting to rush guests even when more than half an hour remained before service ended at 10:30 a.m. There are grocery shops nearby, though we didn’t find many appealing restaurants. By car, the Sierra Nevada was quick to reach. We took a taxi to the Alhambra’s Gate of Justice for about €10 and walked back. The city center is roughly a 20-minute walk, with plenty to see along the way. We especially enjoyed the charming side streets away from the main roads.

The rooms are a good size, and public transport makes getting around convenient.

A good hotel, about a ten-minute drive from ‘Centro’.
