The room was adorable and decorated in a way that made me feel at home. It was on a super quiet side street, less than a 10-minute walk from the start of the touristy area, and we had no noise issues. Communication over WhatsApp was great, and the daily cleaning service was too. A couple of small things: it would’ve helped to know that the access code wouldn’t arrive until 9am on check-in day, since I thought it would come sooner based on her earlier emails. Also, I had to ask about the coffee pods each day and got more, but it would be nice to know upfront whether they’re included in the room rate.

The location is great, it’s clean, and it has the essentials. The hot water can suddenly run out, though, and the old-fashioned shower head means you have to leave it running full on to get warm water, which wastes a lot. Shame about that. The air freshener at the building entrance smells strongly of toilet cleaner, and the coffee and tea cups are tiny, like 60ml?!

The hotel was clean, nice, and quiet, but finding the entrance by car can be tricky. The road down the side street is easy to miss, and it’s barely wide enough for a car. There’s nowhere to pull up, so you’ll probably need to park elsewhere before checking in.

We spent 2 nights here in October 2016 and booked through a third-party website for 174€ / 265,36 $ CAD. The building was very nice, and our well-decorated room had a fully equipped kitchenette with a fridge and microwave, plus a safe box and iron. Staff were friendly, and the place is right in the heart of Grenada, a few minutes’ walk from the main downtown landmarks. It’s about 30/40 minutes to the Alhambra, with lots of restaurants, bars, and cafés around the hotel/apartment. There’s free wifi. We didn’t try breakfast, which costs 7€, and laundry service is available for 5€. Towels are changed only every 3 days. 5/5.

The online check-in was easy, and the staff were very pleasant. We had a really comfortable 5 night stay in this quiet aparthotel, which is also very convenient. I’d highly recommend it for a stay in Grenada.
