The old distant kingdoms of the East meet and intermingle in the rooms of this enchanting guesthouse. The 5 rooms have been created to provide relaxation and pleasure to the senses. Inspiring peaceful corners of unique beauty, each part of the air-conditioned guesthouse has been decorated with affection and care giving to them their own personality. Furthermore, guests are offered an Arab patio surrounded by plants, fruit trees and a refreshing fountain to escape the heat during the most intense months, as well as a common room with fireplace, library and cinema screenings. Guests can also take their breakfast in the breakfast room and stay in touch by making use of the WLAN Internet access. Each room features an en suite bathroom with shower and bathtub, a king-size bed, Internet access and individually regulated air conditioning. All of them have a private terrace with exceptional views of the old quarter of Albayzín and of the Alhambra palace. The hotel serves breakfast in the breakfast room.

The view over the Alhambra was unforgettable. We sat together watching the palace glow in the evening and change colors through the day, which turned a simple trip into a special memory. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and perfectly prepared for a couple’s getaway, with a well-equipped kitchen, kettle, moka pot, complimentary teas and coffee, and a generous breakfast basket. We stayed two nights at Apartamentos Montesclaros, and getting there was easy. From Plaza Nueva, the C31/C32/C34 buses take under 10 minutes. The Darro River path is a 7-minute walk, and Plaza Larga and the famous Mirador de San Nicolás are within a 10-minute walk, making Albaicín easy to explore. It’s a perfect setting for couples after comfort and atmosphere. Highly recommended for a romantic stay in Granada.

The balcony had lovely views of the Alhambra, and the apartments were cozy, rustic, and very clean. Heating and air con worked in both the living room and bedroom. They included complimentary snacks, coffee, olive oil, and breakfast preserves, so it felt like great value for money overall. The location in Sacramonte was excellent, with lots of bars and Cuevas (caves) putting on flamenco shows every night. The city centre was just a 15-20 minute walk away, and Maria, our hostess, was very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and hope we can come back. Couldn’t recommend it more!

The staff were so helpful, and the apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clean and well equipped, with the Alhambra right in view from the pool, a lovely break from the heat. There are plenty of places to sit outside on different levels. The location also made it easy to explore Sacromonte, Albaicín, and central Granada. Hard to imagine staying anywhere better in Granada when the view feels close enough to touch.

The host was friendly and kept in touch throughout. We slept in a beautifully decorated cave, and it stayed cool inside even during Granada's really hot summer weather. The view was incredible too. Well done 👏

The bed was good quality, and the quiet location worked well for exploring the city. But the cave was damp, mouldy, smelly, and dark, and the facilities were basic. You can't make sleeping in a cave sound glamorous. It was a decent bed for one night while visiting Alhambra.
