The roof terrace bar was a real bonus, with views of the Alhambra and the nearby churches and cathedrals. It was also nice to have a cafe downstairs. If you're driving into the narrow streets just to drop off or collect bags, reception can enter your registration so the traffic cameras don't fine you. Our private bathroom and room were clean and nicely decorated for a hostel. The shower had warm water and good pressure, though the floor tiles got slippery when wet and a bath mat would've helped. There was a fan but no AC. The beds and pillows were quite firm, and the double bed was two singles pushed together, so that may not suit everyone. WiFi was free, but cut out several times. It's affordable and central, about a 40-minute walk from the Alhambra. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful, and spoke good English. A really good experience for relatively cheap accommodation in Granada.

There's a terrace with an amazing view, and this place is right in the middle of the center. For the neighbourhood, it's really affordable. The rooms are a bit rough and not especially nice looking. Some share bathrooms, and there aren't many of them. I'd recommend it for a short stay if you're on a low budget and fine with basic things.

Really good for the price, clean, friendly and in a handy location. Bring earplugs though, the bar upstairs and the street are noisy.

EDIT: The air conditioning issue became clear after spending a night in the room. Choosing a non-flexible, non-refundable rate is the guest's choice, but it doesn't feel consumer-friendly. My review still stands. It's a nice hostel, but there's no AC in the building. If a good night's sleep matters to you, don't book here. They also won't be flexible about bookings, whatever the circumstances, and they'll keep your money.
