Modern Oceanview Apt 5min to Beach by DreamHomesTenerife

We're still here as I write this, and it's been a really pleasant family stay. The food has been great, the drinks good, the beds comfortable, and the rooms clean. We're in C block, which has been especially quiet at night with our two very young children. I can't say what the other blocks are like. It's been a very windy week, which nobody can help, and the pools are cold, but the sun warms you up quickly. There's a little queue at tea time, probably because the wind has pushed everyone indoors at once. The gym is well kept and has decent equipment, and there are fantastic coastal running paths nearby if you like jogging. We've had a great time and would recommend it to families with kids. People can always find something negative to say about hotels, and often they seem to expect champagne on a lemonade budget. Ignore the bad comments, our stay has been lovely. ♥️

The team across the hotel were consistently helpful and friendly, from reception and housekeeping to the pool, snack bar, and kitchen staff. They were also accommodating with vegan choices, which made meals much more enjoyable. A clear allergy chart with icons and explanations would make choosing food easier for guests with dietary needs. We had a wonderful, relaxing family stay at Allegro Isora and would happily return. It's in a peaceful location not far from the beach, with activities for different ages. Off-road parking was handy since we had a hire car. We highly recommend it for families.

The place was extremely clean, and once inside we felt good about our stay, even though the exterior had made us a bit concerned. The staff were all polite and friendly, and always willing to help. Our room was great, and the kids loved the little toys in it. We only missed having mugs for tea or coffee. There were two drinking glasses and some cutlery, but nothing suitable for hot drinks. We did have a few food issues, since some of the chicken and beef wasn't cooked through, but there were still plenty of other options.

I appreciated that meals were included three times a day, but the quality and prices otherwise didn't match up. This doesn't feel like a four-star hotel to me, more like a two-plus or three-star place. The main issues were the cleanliness and the hotel's overall condition. At check-in my room hadn't been cleaned, and reception changed it, which I appreciated. The second room was better, but there were stains on the tables, hair on the floor and in the fridge, and marks on the bathroom walls. It looked as if repairs had been done a long time ago, and the place needs more work to look fresh again. The restaurant furniture had holes, the backs of plates still had bits of food on them, and I sometimes found hair on tables. The so-called fresh juices were mixed with cheap, ordinary juice and didn't taste good. There was also a lot of plaque on the taps, which didn't look as though anyone had tried to remove it with vinegar and baking soda. The hotel's condition was worse than I expected from the photos.
