The Echo valley setting is lovely if you like mountain peace and quiet, with great walks nearby. Our rooms were fine for the price, and the food was adequate. Service had been charming enough until the billing mess. We thought breakfast was included because our reservation email confirmed bed and breakfast. When we left, they charged extra and said we'd only reserved breakfast, not paid for it. Then we spotted charges for three breakfasts over two nights and two dinners, although we'd only eaten dinner once. The lady eventually refunded the difference but didn't seem apologetic about overcharging. Good thing we checked before driving off. Maybe we were unlucky, but watch the bill if you stay.

The national park is incredible, and you're close to two small towns. Such a cool hotel, with amazing hospitality. If you want to relax and hike, this is the place. Enjoy :)

A rural hotel in the mountains with its own brewery, and a great fit for walkers and birdwatchers. Half board was essential for us and didn't disappoint. There was usually a choice of two starters, mains, and desserts. Loved everything about the hotel. Lucia and Imanol do a cracking job of keeping guests happy.

A very pleasing stay. The owners speak English, and the hotel is well placed for birders visiting Gabardito/Hecho Valley. The room and service were nice for a fair price, and the dinners were very good and interesting. They brew their own beer too.

Comfy beds, really hot showers, great food, and good service. The hotel brews its own beer, too. It's right at the top of the mountain range. What's not to like?
