Hotel La Casona de Barrio

Jorge's house is very roomy, nicely decorated, and well equipped. Our group of 16, five families altogether, had a fantastic weekend there. Highly recommend it!

The owner was so friendly and answered all my questions. The house is a great fit for a big group, with everything well equipped, and it's very close to the Alto Campoo ski resort. Definitely recommended.

Jorge was attentive throughout and made sure we had what we needed to be comfortable. The house has a lovely rustic, antique style, and the location near AltoCampo is especially convenient for skiing. We had the whole place for friends and children of different ages. There are plenty of well-equipped rooms and shared spaces where everyone could spend time together, plus a very large dining table. We were keen to try the outdoor pool in summer. A few things in the house seemed a little neglected, but it was clean, with everything else spotless.

The village is peaceful and lovely to wander around, with lots of animals. There's parking and a fenced playground right across from the house. Our kids and dogs had a great time running around in the fenced garden, and the pool was a good size and very clean. There were loungers, chairs, and parasols too. The weather wasn't the best, but we enjoyed the sunny spells. There's a sauna as well. We spent the weekend with 14 friends, children, and dogs, and the house suited us really well. The bedrooms all had en-suite bathrooms and comfortable beds. The dining room had an extra-long table, plenty of kitchen utensils, a huge paella pan with a grill, a barbecue, and two fridges. The living room was spacious, and the witch-themed decor was fun. Everything was in very good condition. The host was friendly and flexible, and we’d definitely come back. Highly recommended.
