Casa Rural Casona del Jerte

We had just one hiccup: the hot water boiler failed one day, so we had to shower in cold water. The owner fixed it as soon as we told him. Everything was spotless, and he was incredibly friendly. I'd definitely recommend this guesthouse and would return. There are five double bedrooms, each with its own shower bathroom, shower gel, and hand soap. The mattresses were very comfortable, and the memory foam pillows were excellent, better than what many four-star hotels provide. The kitchen had everything we needed, from cookware and dishes to tablecloths, cleaning supplies, a microwave, toaster, dishwasher, and fridge. It felt like home. There's also a large garage that fits at least three cars.

We were six hikers and came away delighted. Luis was fantastic, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, each with its own bathroom. The kitchen and living room had all the amenities, and there was a private garage for two cars. Everything was wonderful.

The kitchen gets a little tight when there's a big group, though it's well equipped and wasn't a real problem for us. The house itself is fantastic, spotless, and there's no road noise. The owner was friendly and very helpful. There are lovely places nearby, including the vegetable garden and swings that are great for little ones. The pool can be enclosed to help keep children safe, and there's a garage too. I'm probably forgetting something, but we had a great time. Fantastic, we'll be back!

We had a wonderful weekend here in summer, ten of us including children, and we brought our dog too. The location was the best part, close to natural pools, waterfalls, and fountains. The house was lovely, with a pool, big patio, spacious rooms with en-suite bathrooms, and a garage. The owner was lovely as well.
