Otero de Campoo

The two women working there were great, and the food was delicious. We started with mussels in spicy sauce, then had monkfish fillet and entrecot, both cooked very well and served in generous portions, more than enough for two. I was pleasantly surprised to find Díaz Bayo wine on the list at a good price. The recent renovation gives the place an airy, modern feel while still being cosy, and it stands out from so many other restaurants. We went on a Saturday night and had a great experience.

The staff are the best part of the stay, and the location is spectacular. The apartment has everything you need, including a fantastic, very clean bathroom, and it's comfortable and welcoming. It's also convenient for exploring the area. We'll definitely be back.

The location was great, and the apartment could have been great too if the furniture had been in decent condition. We were two people and arrived Saturday, only to have half our luggage inside and half outside after the access code was changed without warning. Once we got in, the sofa bed was left open even though we didn't need it. It was broken and impossible to close. They said someone would repair it the next day, but nobody came on Sunday. We couldn't use the sofa that night, even though it was right in front of the TV. We also found a broken chair back, a broken leg on the dining table, and a stain on a cushion cover, which meant we couldn't eat at the table. Nobody fixed the sofa; they only came on Monday to try to close it properly, and it was still broken. We left Tuesday. Honestly, I can't recommend the place until the furniture is improved.
