The setting stayed with us most: beside the river, among chestnut trees, surrounded by nature. It made us feel part of the forest, the river, the land and the community, rather than people just looking at it or consuming it. We spent a wonderful few days there on a May weekend with the school kids. The whole hostel team looked after us with such warmth, care, and professionalism, clearly backed by plenty of experience. Thanks to Pedro, Carlos, Alicia, Marta, José, Hugo, Pablo, the cooks, and everyone who keeps the place clean. Sorry I can't remember every name, but I remember how kind you all were. We'd love to come back. Hugs to everyone.

Getting away from it all feels easy in this beautiful spot, so in tune with nature. Everyone provided excellent service, starting from the booking. We felt very well looked after.

The food was delicious, and the staff were so friendly. We had a fantastic weekend night in a beautiful place with great facilities.

Pedro, the owner, was attentive and suggested routes and places to visit. We stayed with our family at the Valle del Ambroz Hostel, and the scenery around it is spectacular, with lovely trails for walks. The team made the place feel welcoming. Olivia handled our booking efficiently and paid attention to what we needed, then Alicia greeted us on arrival and showed us around. Rodrigo was always checking that breakfast was going well. The hostel itself is beautiful, and the service was excellent from the start. Highly recommended. We can't wait to return! 💚
