Horta is a pretty little town with bike routes for both mountain and road cycling, plus cultural visits. The sea is about 60 minutes away. In town there are enough places for groceries and basics, including a butcher, chemist, and fishmonger, while Tortosa and its larger supermarkets are a 30 minute drive. We liked going to the square in the evening for a Pasao, a drink, and some people watching. There was live music a couple of times, and some of it was good. The house itself has five big bedrooms, two doubles and three twin rooms, plus a large kitchen with everything you need. The covered pool was fabulous, especially when the wind picked up. From the house, the view over the valley to Rocs de Benet, which look like elephants, was awesome. Our dog was very happy there. A fantastic place to stay, and Horta is well worth visiting.

We had a very comfortable weekend here. The house is well equipped, and the gentleman looking after us was friendly, polite, and excellent. There’s lots to see and do nearby.

It’s a very quiet apartment, well equipped and notably clean, with nothing missing. Supermarkets are right across the street, and bars nearby serve lunch and dinner. Oscar made arrival easy and was available whenever we needed him. That’s a good reason to recommend the place and come back. We’ll return.
