Great location, but there are much better hotel options. We had three power cuts on the first night, when it was 44 degrees, and no water on the second. I know the water issue wasn’t directly the hotel’s responsibility, but the eye rolling and staff walking away in the middle of a conversation left a bad impression. The aircon also reset to heating after the outages, which was really not ideal. At check-in, my wife spent half an hour debating the room with the receptionist. We’d stayed in three hotels in two weeks, and they said booking.com had got it wrong, even though we had the policy emailed to us. They moved us to a room that suited us better, but the sheets were dirty, the sink was broken, and none of the doors worked properly, including the ones we needed our cards to open.

In a relatively cool part of Huesca, this place has both a hotel and cheaper accommodation up the block. Both were acceptable, clean, and had a good bed. The service was friendly and the price was right. They also let me park my motorcycle at no extra charge in a cool storefront storage area. Breakfast at Casa Riojana, half a block away, was fun, delicious, and affordable.

The location is very central, but it’s quiet, and the place is very family-friendly. We went with our 5-year-old girl and would definitely come back. The room was beautifully renovated and very clean, the staff were really friendly, and breakfast was good with plenty of variety.
