Mikasa Ibiza Boutique Hotel - Adults Only

We wanted a small, unique hotel with its own personality, rather than a standard chain room and service, and this little boutique hotel was perfect. I’d recommend it if you’re after a more mindful stay somewhere that feels like home. The hospitality was lovely from start to finish. We arrived late because of the weather, got breakfast with a smile each morning, and chatted with the staff about the old town and the wild weather. They were amazing and we couldn’t fault them. The room was great, though the shower cubicle was a little tight to turn around in. The water kept changing from hot to cold or boiling, so you need to be careful. Still, it served us.

We had an amazing sea view, and the rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was fresh and delicious too. We’ve just spent seven wonderful days at Mikasa and enjoyed it so much. The location is really good, right next to a ferry that gets you to Ibiza town in 10 minutes. The staff are absolutely lovely and look after you so well. Their kindness gives the place a warm, friendly feel, and they can help arrange things like Rent a car or club entry. Definitely recommend it, and we’d come again.

The panoramic terrace is a highlight, with its stunning view of Dalt Vila, the old town of Ibiza. At sunset, golden light falls over the ancient walls and makes a magical backdrop for a drink or just taking in the scenery. Mikasa Boutique Hotel is a real gem if you want a refined but relaxed stay, away from the crowds yet with an unforgettable view. Breakfast is served every morning from 8 AM to 12 PM, a generous window that fits the island’s laid-back rhythm. The rooms are spotless and carefully kept, and the housekeeping staff are attentive and professional. Cleanliness is one of the hotel’s strongest points, and you notice the fresh, tidy feel as soon as you walk in. It’s a great choice for understated elegance, comfort, and a breathtaking view of one of the Mediterranean’s most charming towns. Highly recommended.

The room was much smaller than I expected, with no closet, table, or even a shelf for clothes or a phone. The bathroom was the smallest I’ve ever encountered, and the shower was so cramped I couldn’t turn around or wash my feet properly. The hotel feels more like a 2-star place than the boutique experience it claims to offer. There’s no reception from 11:00 PM until morning, which could leave you locked out if you forget your key card. Although the staff were friendly and helpful, their positive attitude couldn’t make up for the problems with the hotel. When I raised concerns about the room size, the front desk employee knew I was unhappy but smiled and ignored it instead of trying to resolve it. It was clear that a larger room was available, but it wasn’t offered, which was a real letdown. My recent stay at Mikasa Boutique Hotel in Ibiza was disappointing, especially for the price. The website and pictures had given me the impression of a luxurious experience, but reality fell well short. It didn’t live up to its reputation or price tag, and I can’t recommend it.
