Hotel Ses Figueres

For a 3-star hotel, it was good. The room was clean and fresh, with good housekeeping, and the hotel restaurant was nice with really lovely staff. Reception could have been a little kinder, and there were tiny ants in the bathroom sink.

That little single room felt like being in a boat cabin, and I loved it. It was neat, the bathroom was perfect, and the view was amazing. Great location too!

The setting made it easy to forgive a few flaws. You’re right by the water on Talamanca beach in Ibiza, with a relaxed terrace out front where you can sit, catch some sun or swim. It’s an old-school place and service can be inconsistent. I’d happily return. We were disappointed with room 210: a huge white wall, apparently part of the hotel’s design, spoiled the bay view. We were told we could change rooms, but it never happened. The food was fine otherwise, though I’d skip the buffet breakfast and order à la carte. The eggs are better that way. For a pool, Sinbad next door is an option.

Food was really good and reasonably priced, and the rooms were clean with useful extras. I was after somewhere peaceful and quiet, and this was lovely. There’s a nice pier out front for sunbathing and a supermarket right at the street entrance. The Old Town is about 10 mins by taxi. I’d stay again.
