We had a lovely time. The room was nice, and I loved the amenities and access to the beach. Most of the staff were super nice, though our receptionist seemed a little grumpy.

The only issue I had was cleanliness. The bed sheets were dirty and left my whole body itchy, and there was even a drop of blood on the pillowcase. The location is good and close to the beach. There's a private parking lot, though it costs €16 per day. Breakfast was nice too.

One good thing was the breakfast, and the welcome drink we were promised wasn't provided at first, though it was later sorted (Update- now provided). On our last day, the customer experience team contacted us about my Google review and insisted we speak with them to give feedback. They said we could stay in our rooms until we had to leave for checkout. As we were heading out for the day, they then said we could only keep one of our two rooms, which caused more aggravation. After hearing our feedback, they pressured us to reconsider the review. It was too little, too late. At the start, we were put in a terrible suite with an overgrown terrace, no garden view, and a loud road nearby. Reception couldn't help, so we spoke to the manager. After leaving us in the lobby for 90 minutes, they moved us to a smaller room with a cleaner balcony and a view. In the first room, the bathroom had been off the shared area; in the new one, it was part of the main bedroom. We were charged an extra 300 euros for another person. We'd emailed during booking to upgrade to a larger room for them, but no extra-person charge was mentioned. A couple of hours later, we realized two separate rooms would have cost less than having someone sleep on a sofa bed. When we asked, we were moved to two rooms and refunded the 100 euros difference, so we were still 200 euros out of pocket. The new balconies had cigarette butts and sand on the floors.

The staff were welcoming, kind, and reasonably helpful, and the view and available facilities were nice. Breakfast had a good range too. Still, this wasn't a good stay, and I would choose somewhere else next time. It didn't feel like a 4 star hotel. At first the place looked good and our room had a great view. On the first night we found ants and spider webs. Reception could move us only the next day after 3 PM, so we had to sleep there. The next room had a broken chair, and on our last day we found little ants there too. It didn't feel like they were thorough enough about room hygiene and cleaning. There were other annoyances. The room had no shower gel or similar supplies, and we had to ask specifically for refills. The internet was so poor that the TVs' Netflix and other services wouldn't even start, and using the internet in general was frustrating. The restaurant felt a bit expensive for the quality.
