Belle Virrey Finca Hotel

For the price, this was one of the worst and least professional hotel stays we've had. I'm amazed there aren't more negative reviews. The property isn't close to a four-star standard, maybe two or three at best. It also sits somewhere remote, so without a car you're stuck. The pool area was overgrown and dirty, and guests had to clear leaves and bugs from the water themselves. Ants were all over the sunbeds. Housekeeping was poor: the sheets weren't changed for days, and staff seemed unhappy when asked to do basic tasks. Toiletries were missing or didn't work, and staff were generally hard to find when we needed them. Breakfast was very repetitive and limited to bread, a few fruits, the coffee machine, and sometimes eggs if you got there early.

The hotel is close to several wineries, and Soller and Deia are within reach for a day trip. We loved our stay in this gorgeous, old, grand property and would come back. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel at home, and our room was spacious and comfortable. We also enjoyed the clean, relaxing pool, with plenty of loungers and places to sit. Breakfast had a wide selection of fresh local food, and the sauna was a great extra.

The welcome started at check-in, when the friendly gentleman at reception gave us useful tips for things to do nearby. At check-out, Lucie won us over with her warmth, humor, and positive energy. We felt so welcome and can't wait to return. The finca hotel is lovely, with a great breakfast, comfy beds, and everything super clean.

The staff were warm and helpful throughout, especially dear LUCIE and colleagues. Everything was ready for a delicious breakfast: cheese, fruit, eggs, cereal, cakes, and sweet yogurt. If you usually have plain yogurt, bring some to go with the nuts, seeds, and dried fruit. We enjoyed eating on the ground terrace overlooking the lovely garden. It's a quiet, pleasant place to relax, particularly if you have a bike. The routes are very pleasant and almost flat, good for riding around and visiting small towns. You can get to the accommodation by some kind of vehicle, and it's about 3 km from INCA. Bikes are available to rent at the hotel, and there probably aren't any bike shops in INCA. After dinner in INCA, we cycled back to the hotel for the evening sauna, outdoor shower, and pool, then slept really well in a comfortable bed. In the morning I ran to the gate and back, about 1.5 km total, to warm up, then had a quick swim in the small garden pool.
