Cortijo La Haza

Whenever I'm at my house in the area, I try to book a meal here as a treat, if I can. I wish this place were in my town so I could eat here every week. The couple running it make the experience feel really unique, and there's good disabled parking and access. The food is the best in the area, fine dining at its best. It's a hidden gem, and every meal I've had has been delicious, with wonderful flavors. They also offer accommodation and have a beautiful infinity pool. In summer it can be too busy to get dinner, so book well in advance.

We kept extending our holiday and ended up staying almost 1 1/2 weeks at this peaceful, relaxing place with excellent cuisine. We looked forward to Patrick's dinners every day, and Bernadette gave us all the help and advice we needed. It's a great base for seeing the region's attractions, and we loved relaxing by the lovely pool too. Thank you, Bernadette and Patrick, for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

The food really is amazing, as the other reviews say. Bernadette and Patriek go above and beyond for their guests, and that’s a big part of what makes La Haza so special. We’ve loved Cortijo La Haza so much that we’ve returned for 15 years. With its lovely gardens and terraces around the pool, it’s the most peaceful, relaxing place we’ve found to stay in Spain.

We spent three nights at Cortijo La Haza and were sorry to leave, but we’ll definitely return. Bernadette and Patriek made us feel welcome, and our spacious room had breathtaking views. The food was simple and delicious, with a lovely wine selection and cava that we tried. It’s incredibly quiet, and there’s so much pleasure in just sitting by the pool or under the little roof on the sofas, watching the ever-changing sky and mountain views. We didn’t have a car and were happy simply enjoying the peace. With a car, Granada, Malaga and even Seville are not too far away. If you want to get away from it all for a few days, it’s perfect.
