Prices are a little above other local places, but the setting and service are excellent. The food was good without being overly expensive, and the drinks were reasonably priced too. Right by the cathedral steps on Plaza del Aroyo, it’s a lovely new place to eat and drink if you have a property here. The restoration is beautiful, and a welcome addition to an area that’s been gradually renovated over the last few years, not before time.

Very disappointed. The breakfast room is tiny, about the size of a postcard. This is serviced rooms, not a hotel, and the service was terrible.

We ended up eating at the restaurant every night of our three-night stay, trying as much as we had time and room for. The service was amazing and the food incredible. We were traveling with two teenagers who are hard to impress with food, and they loved it too. It all cost a fraction of what we’re used to paying on Mallorca, so we’ll be back. Sidonia Jerez surprised me more than almost any hotel I’ve stayed in while traveling the world. The little details made a difference: a heated toilet seat, a French balcony in the bathroom, and a shower with amazing water pressure. My wife was delighted that the hair dryer came with all the attachments for curly hair. Those are just a few things I think matter in a five-star hotel.

We came across this little restaurant by chance on our Sunday walk, then discovered there was a lovely hotel behind it. While I was using the restroom, Karl, Don, and Freddy looked after the wonderfully refreshing freshly tapped beer. We’d be very happy to stay here if we return to Jerez.
