I've been back six or seven times, and the place has been clean and good value each visit. My apartment had a new microwave, and everything worked, including the TV. It's a quiet area, and the apartments have the dishes, cutlery, gas stove and toiletries you'd want for a few days as a couple or family. As for the person who complained about a bad smell, they might be happier at the Ritz.
We paid a good price, so I don't think “comfort is subjective” was a reasonable response when I reported that the bed sagged. The apartment smelled strongly as soon as we walked in, and airing it out every day didn't help. It was also dirty and barely equipped, with broken items. We reported several problems, including air conditioning that stopped working. They offered to move us, but the other apartment was the same type and even worse because it didn't overlook the pool. We have proof of that conversation. Absolutely not recommended, it wasn't worth the price.
Dirty, buggy, and strongly musty. For this price, I wouldn't recommend it.
