Mojo Hostel Boutique

Right in the heart of Jerez, this magnificent hotel made for a spectacular night. We also had one of the best dinners we've enjoyed in a long time. The Canarian-Andalusian fusion food was excellent, and the wine list had a lovely selection to go with the dishes. Absolutely recommended in every way.

We spent the night in one of the nine rooms at Mojo Hotel Boutique, where the Mojo 3.0 restaurant is also located. The room was comfortable and functional. At dinner, we enjoyed dishes that bring Canarian and Andalusian cooking together, each with its own purpose and a wine pairing. Watching the open kitchen added to the experience, and the service was excellent.

Antonio, the sommelier, suggested a Canarian wine and I absolutely loved it. We ordered from the menu, and I hope we can return for the set menu because it really seems worthwhile. With a bottle of wine, dessert, and coffee, the average came to €50 per person. The food was outstanding, with original flavors and each dish cooked perfectly. It's a magnificent, welcoming restaurant, and the service was warm and impeccable from the moment we arrived until the chef himself came over. I loved being able to watch Manu Liria work in the open kitchen. Dining like this is such a pleasure. Congratulations!

We tried the long tasting menu with wine pairing, which comes to around €150 per person. That's close to what you'd pay at Michelin-starred Mantua, so I expected more. The food was certainly good, but none of the dishes really impressed us, and the service didn't have the kind of presentation you'd expect at this price level. For that sort of money, there are better choices. I wouldn't say the tasting menu is worth it.
