Unfortunately, my friend became ill after two days. The owner, Jean-Paul, kindly drove her back to her hometown, Veenendaal, and promised she could return once she'd recovered. Before that, we'd enjoyed lovely meals at the B&B, including a really good barbecue with splendid Cava.

A lovely little place in central Jijona. I liked the old-fashioned rooms and the feel of a classical rural Spain stay. It has all the basics you need without unnecessary frills. Be aware that places to eat in Jijona can have odd opening hours or be closed altogether depending on the day. Maybe ask the Casa Rural owner for tips. I'd stay again!
