The hotel and town are lovely, with beautiful views, and the owners were great about keeping in touch and sending us the details. There’s a basic local shop for water and a few food essentials. We passed through while hiking the GR141 and couldn’t eat at the hotel because we stayed on the wrong night, so check the opening times. The shower was too powerful to stay in place and left the bathroom quite wet. Also, the mosquito nets didn’t fully cover the beds and had holes, so bring bug spray. We had some with us, thankfully. Lovely hotel and owners, and I’d stay again.

We arrived after a long day on the GR141 and checked ourselves in. The price was fair, and the stay was okay. But in April there aren’t any dinner options in town, and the restaurant is only open Thursday through Sunday. That should be made clear well ahead so guests can make other plans.

A warm, friendly family-run hotel, with comfortable rooms and really good food. We got there just before the restaurant closed and ate straight away, even though we were a little tacky. That was fine with us and the owners. The welcome felt genuine, the owners are charming, and the rooms are pretty good too. A really good experience, thank you.

We stayed one night in February, and the room was spacious, warm, and practical. It had recently been renovated with a lot of care and attention to detail. After a long day hiking, the lovely couple who own the hotel kept the kitchen open late so we could eat. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced.
