Hostal Fuente del Pino

Pretty cool.

A handy little place to stop, with friendly staff and a fair price for a single room. Towels and a hair dryer are provided. There’s no food or breakfast, so plan ahead or go into the village. Just know the walls are very thin and you can hear the other guests.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the family room was clean, warm, and well supplied with towels. Heating worked perfectly, and the hotel has free, secure parking. We arrived at 1 a.m. with our two young children after a long drive, having made the stop at the last minute, and got such a kind welcome despite the late hour. The staff were lovely, and the hotel was far better than we expected. We only stayed one night while passing through, but it really stood out, especially after the much more expensive vacation hotel we’d left the day before, where the bed wasn’t comfortable at all. Thanks so much, and best of luck!

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The place felt neglected and poorly managed, with cleanliness and hygiene that I found unacceptable for any accommodation. The receptionist’s conduct was even more troubling: unprofessional and careless, and they served us with a beer can on the counter, which seemed completely inappropriate. We weren’t asked for any documents at check-in either, an irregularity that made me distrust how the business is run. The whole experience left me with a strong impression of a lack of control and professionalism.
