The bathroom was another problem: the shower leaked all over, there was no heat, and bare wires stuck out of the wall. The bedroom was freezing, so we ended up on a sofa with slats that dug into us. There was just one blanket, no firewood, and the fireplace was broken, leaving us without heat through the night when it was 3°C outside. The floor was stained throughout and the apartment was filthy. The owners were awful to reach, even after calling around 20 times. Never again.

Customer service was nonexistent. We reported the hot water problem in writing, but they only got back to us on the day we left. The water stayed hot for no more than three minutes. There was a used hygienic Opel, the cleaning cloth had been reused and was dirty, and the refrigerator smelled bad. I absolutely wouldn't recommend it.

The street was quiet and parking was good, and otherwise things were fine. Still, the person in charge could have been more attentive; we had to call about everything. There was no dish rack, and the shower didn't close properly, so water spilled out. We didn't even have a mop to clean it up.

We had a great time around Júzcar, and also visited Igualaja, Faraján, Parauta and other places. The apartment had what we needed for a few days, with a fully equipped kitchen, flat-screen TV, lift-top dining table, fireplace and air conditioning. We stayed warm, and our pet loved being there too. Florencio was attentive throughout, which we really appreciated. The one small drawback was the 135 cm bed. My husband is 1.90 meters tall and broad-built, so he would have preferred something bigger. Thanks so much, and best wishes.
