The Christmas show by Iván Gonzalo was a real highlight. I’m a big Michael Jackson fan and have seen the musical in London, but Iván’s choreography and charisma impressed me even more. The hotel was warmly decorated for the holidays, there was artificial ice skating, and the whole Christmas program felt special. Huge thanks to the team, and especially to Head Chef Thomas, Andrey, bar staff Lazaros, and everyone from reception and housekeeping. They were kind, attentive, and helpful. Thomas even cooked special vegetarian dishes for us. There was already plenty to choose from each day, and our family enjoyed the food and quality ingredients. My picky-eating son still talks about Thomas’s burger, while I especially liked the vegetarian paella. I first visited Robin Hood Hotel around 20 years ago, shortly after it opened, and even then I hoped to bring my son someday. This Christmas, we finally came as a family and had the magical holiday I’d imagined. It’s lovely that the hotel has kept its standards over the years. Our chalet was comfortable, with separate bedrooms for adults and children and a living room, and there are playgrounds for different ages. There was so much to do, even in winter. The water park and slides were open, and the weather was good enough for my son to swim and dive. We also spent time at mini golf, the skate park, the gaming areas with arcade machines and air hockey, and the room with consoles. He loved the children’s area with laser shooting and climbing walls, visiting the horses at the hotel stable, and climbing the magical tree for photos with knights and fairy-tale characters. He knows the Robin Hood story and was really inspired by it. We didn’t get time to try everything. We travel a lot and have stayed at many resorts and chain hotels, but this one stood out to us. We’re vegetarian and found a varied selection every day, all delicious. I want to thank the whole team for such an unforgettable family holiday. We’ll definitely return. Happy New Year, and wishing you and your families good health, success, joy, and happiness.

The pools were good as ever, and the hot weather made it lovely to jump in. The new wristbands for doors, drinks, and food were easy to use. Staff said they also help them track what guests have had if anyone gets ill, and they’re handy for older kids who need to go back to the room. There’s loads for kids here, and we’ve been happy enough to come back before and would return again. The rooms have improved, with separate bedrooms for children this time, and were always clean. Still, they should mop daily. Our feet got black if we walked around barefoot. Food is standard, with something for everyone, though there are changes from a few years ago. You now pay for the games room, restaurants have changed, and there are fewer places to eat without booking. We also missed the cooked steak they used to make in front of you. What bothered me most this visit was the local guests who pushed ahead in queues and sometimes barged into people without apologizing. The resort should put up signs asking everyone to queue fairly and respect other guests. I’d have liked an activity guide, as we couldn’t figure out where some things were. Entertainment was sometimes cancelled or changed without anyone telling us. We were waiting for the Oasis tribute act and only found out from staff that it had changed. It’d also be nice if the entertainment team spoke to guests, got to know them, and let them know what’s on so they could join in.

Entertainment was the best part of the holiday. We went ultra and booked a premium lodge, and I’m so glad we did. It was money well spent. Joseph from the entertainment team went out of his way for all of us and made the trip extra special. The rest of the team were lovely too. Most of the bar staff were nice, and the premium restaurants were fantastic, especially the Lion Heart.

We’ve stayed here for the past two years and had no issues with the resort. The themed restaurants are really good quality, and the buffet is just as good. Everything is kept clean, including the pool area, and the lifeguards are always on duty doing their best to keep people safe. I’d recommend booking ultra all-inclusive, since it lets you skip the bar queues, which can get busy.

The cabin’s condition made our New Year stay at Magic Robin Hood a nightmare. Sewage water leaked from the toilet onto the bathroom floor, and the shower kept leaking without being repaired. The first night, the heating didn’t work, there were no extra blankets, and we spent the night at 10°C with children. We had to visit reception three times before anyone helped. We paid for “Ultra All-Inclusive,” but staff showed indifference from the start. At arrival, they initially said we had no reservation. Management has refused compensation, saying we “enjoyed the facilities,” even though the basic conditions weren’t habitable. In its complaint response, the hotel said we’d been offered a room change and accepted it. That’s false. No alternative was offered. They also use a “Formula 24” policy to dismiss complaints after guests leave, saying the process is explained in a “welcome letter.” We never got that letter or any information about the policy during our stay. The poor maintenance and hygiene, along with management’s fabricated account instead of taking responsibility, are unacceptable. The family-friendly image doesn’t match what we experienced. Avoid this place.
