This was an awful stay, and I really wouldn't book with this company. We booked in February, but when we asked for a better apartment, they refused. We also asked for a refund so we could move elsewhere, and they refused that too. There were no staff on site. We had to email or WhatsApp and wait ages for a reply. The advertised balcony or patio wasn't there. Instead, we got a neglected yard beside the main road, with a broken table, no shade, and a broken vent looking down into the basement and generator. There was no parasol outside, no kettle inside, and not even a sink plug. When we asked, they said they didn't have those things. After we pressed about the plug, they said they'd ask housekeeping, as if it were a favor. Ants kept crawling over the stove, counters, cupboards, and floors. They treated the problem while we were out, and we could smell the chemicals when we came back. It worked for at most 24 hours, then the ants returned. The apartment they gave us had been described as having “windows with a pool view.” In reality, the bedroom windows were frosted glass, six feet up near the ceiling, so you couldn't see out. The living area windows had bars like a prison cell and looked onto a gray wall covered in graffiti. The whole place felt like a prison. They called it a hotel, but they couldn't run one.

This was my third stay, and the one we left today was the worst. The apartments are average at best, clean and basic. My issue is the noise: groups of teenagers are allowed to run riot, making it feel like a school playground, and it goes on continuously until 11 at night. There's no one at reception to complain to. The Wi-Fi barely works and keeps dropping out too. We stay in lots of apartments in Estartit, and most are excellent. I won't stay at the Confort again.

The location is good, but the apartment was dusty and moldy, like it hadn't been cleaned since the season opened. We stayed four days and ran out of toilet paper; when we asked for more, they wouldn't give us any. The internet was poor, and there were no support staff around. A German couple couldn't get in after being out all day because the door code wouldn't work. This could be a nice place if they put in some effort, but they don't.

The apartment worked well for us, and its location and equipment were decent. We’d consider staying again, though getting help when something went wrong was a real problem. There’s no staff on site, and the WhatsApp account was slow to respond. When we arrived, the email with our room details and door code hadn’t come through yet. It took a while to reach someone and get the information. The lift was also out, so we carried our bags up three floors without anyone there to help. The power went out the night before checkout. Management said it might be morning before anyone could come, though fortunately someone was available and the lights were back after about 30 minutes. Since the company has several apartments in that block using the same WhatsApp system, having someone available around the clock, on site or on call, seems reasonable. It would make the service much better.
