The breakfast buffet had a wide selection, though during the busy week we were there most of the hot food wasn't very hot. There was plenty else to choose from, though. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and a decent size, and the hotel staff were great. It's a short walk from the south entrance to Fira Gran Vía and near Gran Via 2 shopping mall.

Good value for the price. The staff are really helpful, and the shopping mall nearby has a huge food court. The underground station is a 7 minute walk away. The gym is a bit lacking, but the sauna and steam rooms made up for that.

The front desk was pleasant and the food was fresh and good, nothing over the top. The room was basic, though: instead of a duvet or blanket there was just a flat sheet, so I was cold at night, and the towels were worn and rough. The older restaurant staff could use customer service training. They came across like drill masters, with no finesse. The woman at the breakfast door was always on her phone and seemed irritated by every guest. She often used her finger to say no or point things out, and guests seemed almost afraid to ask anything in case they got told off. A typical transit hotel, just somewhere to sleep and move on.

The hotel and room were new, and the room was spacious. Breakfast had plenty of tasty food, though the drinks weren't that good. From the 9th floor, there's a good view. The big problem for me was the lack of sound insulation. Maybe the couple next door were just noisy and inconsiderate, talking and laughing at 4am, then returning at 2 and banging the door and walking in heels like an elephant. I could also hear the road. One smaller issue was the water temperature, which would suddenly get extremely hot.
