Getting into Barcelona is easy from here: the subway is close by. It's a nice small hotel near the Ciutat de Justicia, with plenty of restaurants and bus stops around.

We paid 300€ for two nights, making this the most expensive hotel we've stayed in, even though it was also the smallest and dirtiest. We got in late and were exhausted, so we went straight to bed. That's the only reason we didn't ask to change rooms or get a refund. The sheets had holes and several stains, and there was dust and hair all over the floor. The shower was filthy and in very poor condition; both times I used it, the hot water ran out and I had to finish with cold water. The sink was broken, and the shampoo and body gel dispensers were broken too, with labels so faded they looked ancient. There was hair on the toilet first thing in the morning, and no brush to clean it after using it. The staff were fine, and the only thing that rescued the stay at all was being allowed to leave our bags after checkout for free. Honestly, this was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I hate leaving a review like this, but it needed to be said. Very, very bad.

The rooms are comfortable and clean, with enough space for two, and coffee and water are provided. It's easy to get around, with the metro about 10 minutes away and a grocery store just 5 minutes away. I think there's only one floor, since carrying luggage up the stairs could be a challenge.

The reception staff were friendly and the service was okay, and the price was reasonable. Still, I wouldn't book here again. The room walls are so thin you can hear people next door breathing, coughing, walking, pretty much everything. The door rattles and makes noise when people move around or when the main hotel door opens, which gives you a sense of the poor build quality. The bed is too short, nowhere near 2 metres, and very uncomfortable. It's a bit of a walk to the metro, away from the main grid. You can find better for the money.
