We were 12 people and booked two rooms. The owner put them next to each other, with an inner connection between them, so together they worked like one double flat. For the price, it was really good: clean enough, with good beds. Both rooms had small kitchens, so making breakfast was no problem. The outside of the hotel doesn't look very promising, but inside everything was fine. It's fairly close to the metro, with plenty of markets and local restaurants around. It was quiet at night, and I'd recommend it for families with kids too.

The room fit four comfortably and had plenty of space. The A/C worked well, and the safe worked too, which mattered to us. The neutral colors made it hard to judge how clean everything was. The shower took some figuring out, since there was only half a door and water could leak out.

The rooms were clean, but the customer service was awful. They said they had 24/7 service, yet we were left outside for more than 45 minutes trying to check in. I called over six times before reaching anyone, and the whole process was confusing. First they said there were no rooms available, then, after they found our reservation, they were rude on the phone and kept us waiting outside. Nobody came in person. They eventually sent an entry code, but only after giving us the wrong code three times.

The apartment was comfortable and clean, and the receptionist was friendly and very helpful. After checking out at noon, we could leave our bags until 4:30 pm. Both metro stations are about 800 meters away, and transport was good. Just remember the €27 tax has to be paid in cash. I forgot to take room photos, but I'd happily give it five stars and recommend it to a friend. I'd definitely return to Barcelona and stay here again.
