The apartments are modern, well equipped, and looked after, with good value for money. The owner wasn't very attentive, though. We had to call her just to find out how to return the apartment key. The setting also wasn't quite what I expected: the apartments aren't in the town center, but they're not isolated either, with other villas around them. The town is close to the main road, so we could hear cars and planes near Barajas Airport.

The views and private terrace were the best part. When the weather allows, it's a lovely place to sit and take in the mountains. The accommodation is in a quiet part of La Cabrera, a good escape from the big city, and has what you need for a few peaceful days without going into town. Breakfast is prepared at the house, so you can eat whenever suits you.
