Luna Triunfo Granada Boutique Hotel

After a long day of travel, we arrived to find the room wasn't what booking.com had advertised or promised. It looked old and dated, and the basic bed wasn't comfortable. The receptionist was very helpful, but we weren't refunded for the two nights we didn't stay. Be careful when booking here.

The rooms looked completely different from the booking.com photos. The bathroom floor was dirty, the bed hadn't been fully made, and the walls were unpainted. It might do if you're in a pinch, but it's below standard if you want a nice place to stay.

I spent a wonderful week here at Christmas, paying 70 euros for a single room. At that price, I can't complain that the equipment and interior design felt a bit old-fashioned, especially since everything worked. The room was cozy, spacious and clean. Reception was friendly and helpful, and the girl gave me a room as soon as I arrived, before check-in time. The hotel is ideally placed at the entrance to the Albaicín and the city centre. It was close to everywhere I wanted to visit, without much crowd or traffic nearby, and there were good bars, cafes and restaurants around. I'd stay here again.

The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly, and the location makes it easy to explore much of the area on foot. The Cathedral and old town are just steps away, with bus stops all around and plenty of shops, cafes and bars nearby. Double rooms are roomy and have the best views. Single rooms are quite tight and only have an internal window. The Wi-Fi was unreliable, which surprised me given the hotel's location.
