Hotel Termes La Garriga

The garden is pretty and the lobby looks lovely, but I was disappointed with the rest. The seafood arrived barely warm and smelled odd. I ordered beef and was served pork instead. At 25 euro a plate, it felt overpriced. The spa water was only warm, not hot, and didn't feel like real spring water.

The staff were lovely and professional, and both dinner and the service were incredible. The hotel has a beautiful, romantic feel, while the thermal waters were wonderfully relaxing. Such a good place to unwind after a long week. I recommend it 100%!

The waters were fantastic, and the relaxing massages were pure bliss. Alba, my lovely massage therapist, deserves a special mention, as does the friendly receptionist. The spa itself is lovely, though a little dated, with some issues that come with age. The hotel restaurant was a real letdown. The food quality was awful, and the meals were poorly done, bland, and seemed to lack care. Such a shame for a wellness hotel to serve food that supports neither health nor pleasure.

We've been here five times, with three stays at the hotel, and we'll be back. The grounds are classically beautiful in a valley in historic La Garriga, and the service is consistently warm and attentive. It feels comfortable and homey, more like the spa you'd want in your own Victorian home than a slick, overhyped experience. Our four-day, three-night package included breakfast, dinner, massage treatments, and unlimited use of the two saunas, wet and dry, and four soaking experiences. Trained physical therapists provide the massages and spa treatments. You can also buy day passes for the water circuit or book treatments à la carte. The restaurant served fresh, flavorful Catalan food that was carefully prepared.
