A one-of-a-kind room, and the view from it is stunning.

The villa and its surroundings are beautiful, and it's certainly peaceful if you're hoping to switch off. But the service was terrible during my five-night stay. The shared areas weren't cleaned, and there's an extra charge for everything, including sheet changes and cleaning. The internet was advertised as available throughout the property, but the signal was weak. In the rooms in a separate building in the first villa, there was no WiFi at all, and there was no cell service anywhere. There are no Spanish TV channels, only satellite, and the television isn't smart, so watching something at night isn't an option. If you want to be completely disconnected, this place may suit you. Check-in was listed as 4 PM, while the message I received said check-out had to be before 10 AM. I also had a child with me during a terrible heatwave. We couldn't open the doors or windows because hot air was coming in. One night, a bee infestation made it impossible to stay, so I had to leave the property. I notified the agency, but nobody offered a solution. I understand that bees are part of nature and aren't the property's fault, but it wasn't mine either. With the night costing over €100, I feel I should at least have received a refund for the night I couldn't stay, or some other compensation. I ended up filing a complaint.

This was the lovely, quiet place we wanted. There's not much hustle and bustle or company, so it won't suit anyone looking for that. The apartment has charm, and we soon got used to having two entrances. Getting in with the key box was simple, and contacting the agency was easy too. Some cushions for the loungers would have been nice.

We stayed in the larger of the two apartments in this lovely holiday home. The pool is shared, though. It's surrounded by vineyards, with no other houses for miles, and the setting is exceptional. The house had everything we needed, including an oven, kettle and microwave. The bathroom has been renovated to modern standards, and Wi-Fi is available. Carlos was a very friendly, accommodating host who always got back to us quickly with answers to our questions. The only tricky part was the bumpy, unpaved gravel access road. We managed fine in our Toyota Aygo by driving slowly.
