Hotel Tramuntana

Everything went smoothly during our one-night stay. We got a warm welcome and the service was great. Highly recommended!

Dinner was in a nearby café, where the food was tasty and the service good, especially for the low price. Breakfast was perfectly fine for the cost and the hotel category, and we chose the dinner-and-breakfast deal. Check-in took a while and didn’t feel very efficient. It’s odd how much more paperwork hotels in Spain involve compared with Germany and France. This is a handy hotel for an overnight stop between France and Spain. It made a good overall impression and offers a decent standard for its price and type. The area around it isn’t especially pleasant, with a petrol station and truck parking nearby, but it works for a quick night on a road trip. We paid extra for the underground garage, though there’s free parking outside.

The price was very reasonable, and we had a great stay. I’m disabled, and we were given an adapted room with plenty of space to move around. The bathroom was huge, with a shower big enough for a wheelchair. The room was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and we slept well. There’s a lift, plus both an outside car park with disabled spaces and an underground car park. They felt safe and secure, with cameras, and are closed later in the evening and overnight, though I’m not sure of the exact time. The staff were extremely friendly and polite. The man at reception helped my husband with our luggage. The buffet breakfast had lots to choose from, and the restaurant was bright and spotless. There’s also an outdoor terrace. Tramuntana restaurant is just behind the hotel, Tramuntana supermarket is a little further up, and La Jonquera shopping centre is a couple hundred metres farther on. We stayed in room 509 on 17 March 2025. We’ll definitely stay again on our next trip, and I’d highly recommend the hotel. Thanks to everyone at Tramuntana hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Shops are handy to reach, though you have to cross a fuel station forecourt, and trucks are all around, so watch out for them. The hotel itself is a very nice budget option, spotless inside and out. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and the desk staff gave us a warm, efficient welcome.
