Los Aladros

We took advantage of our first night at the house for a great barbecue, with firewood provided for guests. We spent the Lovers' Day weekend in the capital, so we weren't at the house much. It's on the outskirts of La Puebla, opposite the cemetery, about 50 meters away. The large patio has a covered carport for two cars, plus a barbecue with a sink and work surface. There's a fenced chicken area, but the chickens aren't a nuisance. The owner keeps his dog in the patio too, and it wasn't a problem, though it ran off when we arrived on the second night and came back by itself a little later, haha. The entrance is through a porch enclosed by large sliding glass doors that can open all the way in summer. It's furnished with chairs, a table, a sofa, and more. Inside there's a small living-dining room, three bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom, and another larger bathroom. Heating comes from a pellet stove and electric panels. The panel in the en-suite bathroom wasn't working, but we didn't need it. There's also heating and cooling air conditioning in the living/dining room. The kitchen isn't huge but has enough room for several people to work together. The house is clean, and the owner, José Luís, is available if you need anything.
