We found the price rather high for the quality of the interior and furniture. The Wi-Fi signal was very weak and the internet slow, a couple of window handles were broken, and there was no washing machine. Still, the apartments stayed around 20 degrees inside without any trouble when it was about zero outside, thanks to the gas heating and cooking systems. Parking is right outside the apartment doors, and the place is on the riverbank, fairly close to the town center, supermarkets, and restaurants.

A great base for exploring the Romanesque churches, Aigüestortes National Park, and the little towns around Barruera with the kids. We'll come back!

This was our fifth summer here, and it's been perfect every time. The apartment has all the comforts, and sleeping here is so good. Waking up to those spectacular views is wonderful too. We love the quiet, the nature, the refreshing pool for escaping the heat, and the relaxing jacuzzi. Carme is always there if we need anything, our friend in La Barruera. We'll be back in summer 2026!
