The massage discount was the most confusing part of the stay. Staff told us on three occasions that massages were discounted, but when we tried to book, we were told it wasn’t actually available. The attic-style room also had very little usable space, and the safe was awkward to reach. On top of that, the magnetic key cards kept losing their charge, so we had to go back to reception several times to get them reactivated. For a four-star hotel, I expected clearer communication and more attention to detail. It was frustrating and fell short of what I expected.

The apartment was clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay. Such a beautiful place with an amazing view, too. The staff were so nice and attentive.

We couldn’t get a couples massage, so my husband and I had separate ones on our honeymoon. His sounded just as disappointing as mine. I came in hoping to treat my problem areas, but even after I pointed them out, the masseuse didn’t give them extra attention. The massage itself was just a gentle touch on the skin, nothing like the deep tissue sports massage I’d expected, and I left with the same pain. Also, there was no face hole in the table, so lying on my stomach left my face smushed into it and made it hard to breathe. Worst massage I’ve ever had. Don’t waste your money, especially if you’re looking for a sports massage.

The room could use some improvements. The air conditioning didn’t cool enough for such a hot climate, and the shower water wasn’t hot enough during the day, especially in the evening. The furniture could be newer and better quality, too. The staff, though, were pleasant and very attentive, and they tried their best to help. It’s a nice hotel.
