Cantagua Hostel

The dorms are thoughtfully laid out, and the beds are especially comfortable, with good privacy and space for a restful night. Sleeping hours were peaceful because guests and staff respected the quiet policy. Cantagua Hostel also has clean, cozy facilities and a relaxed social feel, with a nice balance of community and calm. From the moment you arrive, the welcoming atmosphere makes you feel at home, whether you're traveling alone or with friends. The staff are kind and upbeat, and that good energy carries through the hostel. It’s one of Valencia’s most inviting places to stay.

I spent six brilliant nights at Cantagua hostel, and it felt welcoming and homely, especially in the common area. I met people from all over, with some amazing stories, and we shared a New Year's Eve dinner made especially by the hostel owner. Thank you so much! I really appreciate it, and I already miss Valencia.

The beds have private little curtained booths, and the location is great. I loved the decor and the friendly vibe. The showers were really nice too, with perfect pressure and temperature control. Amazing place, I'd definitely recommend it if you're staying in Valencia.

I hate leaving a poor review because I liked the staff and the general vibe. The common area was attractive and well equipped. But the bedroom had no ventilation at all. It was a small galley-style room with bunks on both sides. At night, they shut the tight door and the small window to the common area, then switch on an AC unit that isn't vented outdoors. There's no exterior window or other way for air to circulate. The room felt disgustingly stuffy, and you could sense the humidity from everyone's breathing. If one person gets sick, it seems like everyone will. Whoever designed the room clearly didn't consult an HVAC contractor or follow air-quality best practices. I didn't bring it up with the staff because there was nothing they could do about the owners' construction decisions.
