Quart Silence

The city-center location is the only good thing I can say. The house was dirty and bare, and there was a cockroach waiting as a welcome. Even the few things they provide were dirty. It feels like they’re making fun of people, definitely not a good job at all!

The apartment was spacious, nice, and well equipped, with free WiFi, in a quiet area that’s a little outside the center but still not far away. Communication was poor initially, then got easier once I arrived and they gave me a WhatsApp number. They handed the apartment over late, around 5 PM, but let me stay until 1 PM on departure day. I saw the cleaner still working at 5 PM, and she did a very thorough, meticulous job. She and the person who handed me the keys were both kind and courteous. Recommended.

The apartment’s location near the city center was its one real positive. I stayed a few days in Valencia in a Coroa apartment, but found it dirty. The windows were so filthy I couldn’t open them, and perhaps hadn’t been cleaned in years. I couldn’t use the damp shower either. I reported this to the agency several times, but they didn’t offer to clean; they only brought me a few towels and sheets, which I left with them and bought clean ones instead. The manager only spoke to me on my last day. On the other days I’d asked for him and was told he was away, though he was actually sitting behind his desk talking with colleagues. He was grumpy and annoyed, and offered a discount, but I didn’t accept after he called me a fraud. It just added insult to injury.

The apartment was okay for our three days, even though the bidet didn’t work. Be aware there’s a construction site next door, with noise starting at 8 AM. If that doesn’t bother you, then fine.
