It’s a lovely little campsite, with friendly staff and a bar/restaurant right there. The pitches are close together because the site is small, but it’s very close to the village. Our first night happened to fall during the local festival, though, and loud techno music carried on at Glasto volume until six in the morning. Maybe I’d have enjoyed that if I were younger, but we left in the morning...

The staff were fantastic, helpful, and provided good service, and the food was good too. Some pitches have shade, though they’re a little small. It’s in town, so restaurants and markets are easy to get to, and you can walk to the municipal pool or the river. Highly recommend!
