The bathroom had hair in it, the room floor was dirty, and our towels stayed as they were even after we left the used ones on the bathroom floor. Cleanliness matters so much in a hotel, and this was really unpleasant. We’ve never had this happen before. When we raised it, the hostess showed little interest in our wellbeing and didn’t apologize. She called us liars instead. The response afterward was just as unpleasant. It’s sad when honest feedback is handled that way. Worst hostess ever!!!

Amaya, the owner, was so attentive, and breakfast was delicious. We also had a fantastic room with a very comfortable bed, just the right temperature, and lovely hot water. The village is quiet but well connected, and the location is great. Highly recommended.

We had a peaceful weekend here, a lovely chance to disconnect and enjoy the quiet surroundings. The owners made us feel very welcome and shared great suggestions for things to do. The inn itself is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable. It’s a great base for seeing Comillas, San Vicente de la Barquera, and the other charming towns nearby. 100% recommended.

The setting is hard to beat, close to everything while still surrounded by nature. Our room was spacious, exceptionally clean, and much brighter than it looks in the Booking.com photos. The owner was incredibly kind and attentive to every detail, with impeccable service. Breakfast wasn’t a big spread, but everything was absolutely delicious. It’s such a welcoming inn. Go, and I’m sure you’ll want to come back, just like I did.
