The house was spacious, but I didn’t feel comfortable there because it wasn’t properly clean. It looked clean at first, but we found rotten food left in the drawers. Before using anything, we had to wash all the cutlery, glasses, plates, pots, and other dishes because they were disgusting and smelled awful. There was also a strange issue after checkout. Rubén inspected the house with me, returned the deposit and keys, and confirmed everything was fine. Hours later, he messaged me on WhatsApp claiming a blanket was missing and pressuring me to send €30 by Bizum straight away. We checked the house, and so did he, and nothing was missing, which is why we got the deposit back. I don’t know how often Rubén does this to visitors, but it didn’t work with us. The place is spacious, but that doesn’t make up for being somewhere dirty where you can’t feel at ease.

It’s a big house, but pretty dirty. If you’re planning to cook, clean everything first: the cutlery is all greasy, and the pots are even worse.

You get a peaceful countryside setting while still being close to the city. The house is welcoming and perfectly equipped, and the owner couldn’t be friendlier. A lovely place to switch off.
